From the sheen on an aspen leaf to the dramatic canyons in Costa Rica, the jewelry collections by Denver jewelry store owner and designer, Kate Maller, are inspired by the shapes, forms, and textures found in nature. In her travels to faraway places, or just hanging out with her dogs in the park, Kate is drawn to simplicity and power. Organic forms, surfaces, and structures, and the interplay of light and shadow influence her designs, first in her sketchbook and then at the jewelry bench in her Denver studio.
